Braves Vs. Marlins: Freddie Freeman hits walk-off HR

The Miami Marlins lost a heart-breaking game on Tuesday night, as they blew a 3-2 lead to the Atlanta Braves in the bottom of the ninth when Freddie Freeman hit a two-run walk-off HR off of Mike Dunn.

The Braves, after their dramatic late-season collapse in 2011, seem to have turned it around in 2012. The win moved them to 89-65, six games up in the NL Wild Card race with two weeks left in the regular season.

For the Marlins, it was yet another indignity in a season full of them, as a team that opened a new stadium with high expectations continued to slink towards the end of the year with a 66-88 record.

2B Donovan Solano provided all of the offense for Miami on Wednesday, with a solo HR in the first and a two-run HR in the seventh that gave them a 3-2 lead.

Nate Eovaldi went 6 solid innings, giving up 4 hits and 2 earned runs, but the Marlins bullpen once again came up short.
