After opening as a 4.5-point underdog, the Miami Dolphins now face a spread ranging from six-to-seven points against the Arizona Cardinals, according to various oddsmakers listed on OddsShark.com.
The Cardinals (3-0) are the surprise of the NFL early in the season. After going through a quarterback controversy during the preseason, the Cardinals are undefeated and have beaten the Seattle Seahawks, the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles. Arizona's defense has been dominant, holding the Patriots and the Eagles to a combined 24 points.
The Dolphins (1-2) are coming off a 23-20, overtime loss to the New York Jets. Miami's top offensive threat, running back Reggie Bush, was injured against New York and missed practice Wednesday. His status for Sunday's game remains in question. If Bush is not able to go, Lamar Miller and Daniel Thomas are expected to split the workload in the backfield.
