The Florida Atlantic Owls (1-3) will try to snap a three-game losing streak when they host the North Texas Mean Green (1-3) on Saturday evening. The Owls have spent the last two weeks on the road in the SEC, and now they're set to resume Sun Belt play.
The Mean Green come in on a two-game losing streak, their lone win in 2012 coming over Texas Southern in Week 2. North Texas ranks 84th nationally in total offense, 106th in passing offense and 109th in scoring offense so far this season, though their defense hasn't been terrible.
The Owls rank worse in every respect, but they did have to contend with the Georgia Bulldogs and Alabama Crimson Tide over the last two weeks. North Texas has played non-conference games against LSU and Kansas State. Sportsbooks expect the Mean Green to beat FAU, but they don't expect the win to come by more than one score.
