Miami vs. NC State score: Hurricanes hold 30-21 advantage over Wolfpack entering fourth quarter

Miami has stretched their lead over North Carolina State to nine points, with the Hurricanes topping the Wolfpack 30-21 entering the fourth quarter on Saturday afternoon at Sun Life Stadium.

After allowing the Wolfpack to trim a 23-7 deficit to just 23-21, Miami scored with under a minute left in the third quarter on a four-yard Duke Johnson rush. Johnson has eight carries in the game for 34 yards.

Hurricanes quarterback Stephen Morris has had a strong day, completing 20-of-37 passes for 369 yards and three touchdowns. Wide receiver Rahawn Scott has been the recipient of four of those throws, racking up 149 receiving yards and a touchdown.

NC State quarterback Mike Glennon is 15-of-25 passing for 241 yards and two touchdowns, and Wolfpack running back Tony Creecy has gained 111 yards on 16 rushes.
