2012 Deutsche Bank Championship: Rory McIlroy Wins Tournament

Rory McIlroy won the 2012 Deutsche Bank Championship on Monday, finishing 20-under for the tournament at TPC Boston, and winning the tournament by one stroke. McIlroy shot 4-under on Monday.

Louis Oosthuizen finished in second place, at 19-under for the tournament. Unfortunately for Oosthuizen, he shot even par on Monday, marking his worst round of the event.

Golf superstar Tiger Woods finished in third place, after shooting 5-under on Monday. Woods finished the tournament at 18-under, just two strokes off of McIlroy's pace. He became the first PGA player to top $100 million in career earnings.

Two American golfers rounded out the top five, as both Phil Mickelson and Dustin Johnson shot 14-under for the tournament. Mickelson had the better Monday, though, shooting 4-under, while Johnson shot just 1-under.

With the win, McIlroy now leads the FedEx Cup standings, jumping past Nick Watney, who finished tied for 20th at the Deutsche Bank Championship.
