2012 U.S. Open Scores: Maria Sharapova's Match Postponed

Tuesday's matches at the 2012 U.S. Open are currently suspended because of rain in the New York City area.

Third-seeded Maria Sharapova's match has been postponed until Wednesday morning. Sharapova currently trails Marion Bartoli 4-0, but leads in the fifth game, 15-30. Sharapova will look to break Bartoli's serve -- and hope that the overnight break stalls Bartoli's momentum.

Andy Roddick is also set to compete Tuesday night, but it's unknown what time his fourth-round match against Juan Martin Del Potro will get underway -- if it will at all. Roddick is looking to extend his playing career, and advance to the quarterfinals. Roddick previously announced that the U.S. Open will be the final tournament of his career.

Earlier on Wednesday, top-seeded Victoria Azarenka advanced to the semifinals, with a 6-1, 4-6, 7-6 (7-5) win over Samantha Stosur.

Azarenka awaits the winner of the Sharapova/Bartoli match, which will be completed on Wednesday.
