Florida Vs. Texas A&M Score Update: Aggies Rush To 17-10 Halftime Lead

The Aggies offense has been pounding the No. 24 Gators defense as Texas A&M takes a 17-10 lead going into halftime.

Texas A&M picked up the second quarter right where they left off and scored their first touchdown of the quarter off of a 11-yard rush by quarterback Johnny Manziel.

The Gators were not able to respond on the following drive. The Aggies took over again and mostly rushed their way up the field against the suddenly depleted Gators defense to score again on a 1-yard rush by Christine Michael to take a 17-7 lead. A field goal after a 37-yard drive by the Gators brought the halftime score of 17-10.

Four Gators defensive players have left the game due to injuries. Linebackers Neiron Ball and Jelani Jenkins, defensive lineman Sharrif Floyd and safety Josh Evans all left in the second quarter due to various ailments. Texas A&M running back Ben Malena almost literally ran over Evans in the hit that knocked him out.
