The San Francisco 49ers are favorites in Super Bowl XLVII -- but not by a huge amount, as bookmakers are giving them just a little bit over a field goal.

The line opened with San Francisco favored by five, but has now moved to give them a 3.5-to-4 point-edge over Baltimore.
John Harbaugh's squad hasn't shied away from being underdogs in the playoffs thus far. The Ravens were nine-point underdogs heading into Denver, but they left with a 38-35 double overtime win after a last-minute touchdown from Joe Flacco to Jacoby Jones tied the game. Then, they were eight-point underdogs against the New England Patriots, but that game wasn't even close as the Ravens shut out Tom Brady in the second half to leave with a 28-13 win.
That said, the 10-6 Ravens were only 6-9-1 vs. the spread in the regular season, while the 11-4-1 49ers went 9-7 before winning both of their playoff games against the spread. Although they have the second-best scoring defense in the league, they've hit the over in all five of their last games
