With the South Florida Bulls hiring high school coach Robert Weiner to be their new wide receivers coach, the only thing left for the newly-hired Weiner was to tell his players goodbye at Plant High School. He did that in an emotional meeting on Sunday night, via Joey Johnston of TBO.com.

Robert Weiner bid goodbye to players, parents and the school Sunday evening and thanking them for being great to him for nine seasons. The thanks were returned to Weiner, who built Plant High School into a powerhouse, leading them to four state titles.

For Plant High School, they have a vacancy at the head coach position, but the school's principal Robert Nelson is aware of its attractiveness. The position could be filled within a month.

Meanwhile, people at the meeting raved about USF's decision to hire Weiner, calling it a brilliant move for the Bulls and how it will do wonders for their recruiting.
