Conference USA Tournament 2012, UCF Vs. UAB: Knights Lead By Seven At Half

In the final game of the quarterfinals of the Conference USA tournament, the UCF Knights lead the UAB Blazers after one half of play at FedEx Forum in Memphis. The Knights have beaten the Blazers twice this season and enjoyed a bye on Wednesday night as the No. 4 seed.

Keith Clanton led the Knights with nine points, hitting four of six attempts from the field. Isaiah Sykes had a nice half off the bench as well, spotting UCF a quick eight points on four of six from the field. Marcus Jordan had another solid half as, chipping in eight points. As a team, UCF is shooting almost 60 percent from the floor and already have an impressive 11 assists.

They will look to keep up the defensive pressure and advance to the semifinals to face no. 1 seed and hometown favorite Memphis.
