With the UCF Knights not set to start their Conference USA schedule for another two weeks, conference play has already begun for some members with the East Carolina Pirates and Marshall Thundering Herd out to 1-0 conference records.

In the West division, the Tulsa Golden Hurricane is the only team with a victory, as both the Rice Owls and Tulane Green Wave have dropped their first conference game of the season.
