The Week 8 edition of the USA Today Coaches Poll was released on Sunday, and while the top two teams stayed put, there was a lot of movement right behind them. Both the South Carolina Gamecocks and the West Virginia Mountaineers dropped out of the top five following their defeats on Saturday night, freeing up a lot of room for teams in the top 10 to move up.

The Florida Gators were able to move up from sixth to fourth after beating Vanderbilt, and the Florida St. Seminoles were able to move back into the top 10 after blowing out Boston College. Both teams are still very much alive in the hunt for a BCS berth.
