Florida Gators coach Will Muschamp expressed how much his team will miss versatile wide receiver Solomon Patton during his Monday press conference, as Zach Abolverdi of the Gainesville Sun writes.

Patton is lost for the season after breaking the humerus bone in his left arm during the team's 17-9 loss to the Georgia Bulldogs last Saturday, Muschamp announced after the game. On Monday, Muschamp showed his appreciation:

"He was having a fantastic year. He does a lot for us on offense, but (on) special teams he's a great gunner and a guy that you can use in the reverse game.

"Great young man who's really given a lot to our program in the two years I've been here. But he'll be back this spring and he'll be fine."

Receiver Andre Debose is expected to see an increased role:

"Andre needs to step it up a little bit and help us in some situations there. We gotta fill the void of what (Patton) gives you from a dynamic playmaker standpoint. He's a guy that can get on the edge and do some good things."
