The Florida Gators had no problem taking care of the Alabama St. Hornets on Sunday, coasting to an easy 84-35 win at home. The tenth-ranked Gators held Alabama State to only 9 points in the first half, and only 16.4 percent shooting from the floor for the entire night.

Kenny Boynton lead the Gators with 22 points, four rebounds and five assists, and was 4-of-5 from three point range. Erik Murphy finished with 15 points, and Mike Rosario had 14. Patric Young had 12 points, and lead the team with five rebounds.

Bobby Brown led the Hornets with 14 points and five rebounds, and Josh Freelove had 12 points. However, other than those two, no other Alabama State player had more than two points, and they put 13 different players into the game. The Gators defense helped, but the Hornets just couldn't buy a bucket all night.

The Gators will play the 23rd ranked Wisconsin Badgers on Wednesday night.
