The Florida Gators received letters of intent from two five-star prospects Wednesday, according to The Gainesville Sun.
Point guard Kasey Hill and power forward Chris Walker faxed their LOIs Wednesday to kick off the early signing period.
Both are from Florida. Hill is out of Eustis and attends Montverde Academy, while Walker is from Bonifay and goes to Holmes County.
Hill committed on New Year's Eve and Walker committed in July, according to the Sun.
"Obviously there are guys we are recruiting that are going to sign late, but I'm really excited about the two guys we got," Florida coach Billy Donovan said shortly after UF's 74-56 win over Wisconsin. "Kasey Hill I think is clearly one of the better point guards in the country. He's explosive. He's really good in transition, for our style of play, pick-and-roll, pressing, he's going to be terrific.
Donovan told the Sun he had been recruiting Walker since he was a freshman. Donovan described him as "long, he's athletic, he's quick. ... he's got a really good motor. He's competitive."
Hill is considered the second best point guard prospect and ninth overall in the 2013 class, according to Sun, and Walker is ranked by ESPN as the 10th best overall prospect.
Florida is also courting top prospects Julius Randle and Jabari Parker, but they aren't expected to sign until April, according to the Sun.
