The Florida Gators step out of conference on Saturday to take on the Jacksonville State Gamecocks. JSU has played one other SEC team this season -- it lost to Arkansas 49-24 back on Sept. 1.
The Gators are no longer contenders for the SEC title, but they are playing for bowl and BCS positioning. They have won two games in a row, though they had some trouble getting past Louisiana-Lafayette last weekend.
Jacksonville State, which is a member of the Football Championship Subdivision, has a 6-4 overall record this season. The Gamecocks are coming off a 38-23 win over Austin Peay and have a 5-3 record in the Ohio Valley Conference.
The Gators are No. 5 in the FBS in total defense, No. 3 in scoring defense and No. 1 in pass efficiency defense. On the offensive side, they are No. 104 in total yards per game. JSU ranks 21st in the FCS in total offense and 108th in total defense.
Kickoff: 1 p.m. ET
