College Basketball Scores: Gators cruise past Savannah State, 58-40

The Florida Gators have won their first four games of the season for the first time since 2009.

Al Messerschmidt

Florida 58 - Savannah State 40

The No. 7 Gators took a big first-half lead, and never looked back. This was a breakout game for junior center Patric Young, who finished with 13 points, 11 rebounds, and a career-high six blocks. Kenny Boynton, who leads the team in scoring this season, left the game with a sprained ankle. Boynton scored just five points. Coach Billy Donovan does not think the injury is severe.

South Florida 82 - Bradley 63

The Bulls' 82 points set a season high, as they had four players in double figures. Toarlyn Fitzpatrick was USF's top scorer, with 16 points, while Victor Rudd pitched in 15 points and 12 rebounds.

Arkansas 89 - Florida A&M 60

The Razorbacks scored 49 points in the first half of this runaway victory, and remained undefeated with the win. The Rattlers, who are now 0-4, were led by Reggie Lewis, who scored 15 points.
