Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban expressed displeasure over the fact that the loser of the SEC title game will be left out of the BCS bowl picture. The loser of the game, be it Alabama or Georgia, will not have a chance to play in the Sugar Bowl, which appears to be the destination of the Florida Gators.
Gators head coach Will Muschamp offered up a solution to Saban. "Well, I can switch and go to Atlanta if he doesn’t want to go to Atlanta and play the Dawgs," Muschamp said. "Be careful what you ask for, Nick."
The Gators fell short of the SEC title game thanks to a loss to Georgia in October, but they secured a BCS at-large spot after beating Florida State on Saturday.
Alabama and Georgia, meanwhile, are not only playing for the league crown, they're playing for a spot in the 2013 BCS National Championship game.
