In the latest SB Nation BlogPoll, the Florida Gators rose one spot to No. 5 in the rankings, actually receiving one first-place vote. The Gators find themselves looking up at the Notre Dame Fighting Irish at No. 1, Alabama Crimson Tide at No. 2, Oregon Ducks at No. 3 and the Georgia Bulldogs at No. 4.
Other SEC teams in the BlogPoll include the LSU Tigers at No. 9, Texas A&M Aggies at No. 10 and the South Carolina Gamecocks at No. 11. The other major team from the Sunshine State, the Florida St. Seminoles, fell five spots to No. 13. The only other ACC team to be in the top 25 of the BlogPoll is the Clemson Tigers at No. 15. The Central Florida Knights also received votes in the BlogPoll rankings.
The biggest riser in the BlogPoll rankings is the Northwestern Wildcats, who rose seven spots in the rankings to No. 21. The Utah St. Aggies rose six spots to No. 20 and both the Northern Illinois Huskies and the Kent. St. Golden Flashes rose five spots to Nos. 19 and 18, respectively.
The biggest tumble in the BlogPoll belongs to the Texas Longhorns who fell seven spots after their loss to the TCU Horned Frogs last week.
