The Florida Gators are hoping to finish the 2012 season undefeated at home.

The Florida Gators are hoping to at least achieve one of their preseason goals this season, finishing undefeated at home. After seasons where the Gators lost three games at home two years ago and suffered losses to the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Florida St. Seminoles last season, the Gators have an opportunity to finish undefeated at home in 2012 with remaining games against the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns and the Jacksonville St. Gamecocks.

The Gators still have a chance to win the SEC East and play in the SEC Championship game, but they have to hope for an upset by the Auburn Tigers against the Georgia Bulldogs. Even if the the Gators fall short in making the SEC Championship game, Gators head coach Will Muschamp wants to finish undefeated for the Gator fans:

"We have one of the great arenas in all of sports to play in," Muschamp said. "No. 1, because of our fans. We've got a great following.

Gators tailback Mike Gillislee also believes that finishing undefeated can help recapture the former glory of the stadium known as The Swamp:

"We don't want to lose in The Swamp," senior tailback Mike Gillislee said. "Only Gators get out alive. The past two years, we lost in The Swamp and we want to get it back to how it used to be."

The Gators play the Ragin Cajuns on Saturday with kickoff scheduled for 12:21 p.m. The game will be broadcast locally on the SEC Network and the game will also be streamed live on ESPN3.com.
