When the No. 10 Florida Gators face the Georgetown Hoyas in the second annual Carrier Classic, both teams will wear camouflage versions of their uniforms. Andy Hutchins of SB Nation's Gators blog, Alligator Army, managed to get a sneak peek at what may end up being the uniforms for UF during that game:
Hutchins notes that a Florida spokesperson confirmed to him that those are "an early rendering of the uniform concept. The final look may vary from that photo." The jerseys are nearly identical versions of the orange jerseys that the Gators debuted during the 2011-12 season with the exception, of course, of camouflage. For more details regarding the uniforms, check out Alligator Army.
The game on the deck of the U.S.S. Bataan in Jacksonville, Fla., will tip off Friday night at 9 p.m. ET and will be televised on NBC Sports Network. It is the first game of the season for both teams.
