Florida Gators' defensive tackle Leon Orr is slowly working back to full strength after he was hospitalized last week with the flu.
The 6'5, 305-pound redshirt sophomore from New Port Richey, Fla. was forced to go to a local Gainesville hospital last Tuesday to receive fluids via an IV. Orr was unable to recover in time to participate in the team's game against the Missouri Tigers last Saturday.
In talking with the Tampa Bay Times' Josh Jurnovoy, Florida head coach Will Muschamp said that Orr is likely to miss the team's next game against the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin Cajuns this Saturday.
For the season, Orr has accumulated 14 tackles, 4.5 tackles for a loss, and a sack.
In addition to Orr, the Gators will be without backup running back Mack Brown and return specialist Andre Debose against Louisiana-Lafayette. Brown injured his ankle in the fourth quarter of the Gators game against the Missouri Tigers and Debose hyperextended his knee during practice last Thursday.
