20 of Florida's 31 basketball games will be televised during the 2012-13 season, according to an article today in the Gainesville Sun. Florida opens the season on Nov. 9 against Georgetown in the Navy/Marine Corps Carrier Classic. That game will be televised on NBC Sports Network at 9:00 a.m EST.
Other notable televised nonconference games are listed below:
Nov. 14 -- Wisconsin, ESPN2 or ESPNU, 7 p.m.
Nov. 29 -- Marquette, ESPN2, 9 p.m. (Part of the SEC/Big Ten Matchup)
Dec. 5 -- at Florida State, ESPN2, 7 p.m.
Dec. 15 -- at Arizona, ESPN, 10 p.m.
Dec. 22 -- Kansas State, ESPN2, 8 p.m.
All of Florida's SEC games will be televised, with most appearing on the ESPN family of networks or the SEC Network. The season finale at Kentucky will appear on CBS at noon on Mar. 9.
