As of now, it's the Florida Gators' Sugar Bowl to lose.
The Gators are a 14-point favorite to beat the Louisville Cardinals when the teams meet at 8:30 p.m. ET Wednesday.
Florida went 11-1 this season with a 7-1 mark in the SEC. The Gators were on their way to a potential trip to the BCS National Championship game, but a loss to Georgia in October derailed their trip.
The Cardinals, meanwhile, went 10-2 and 5-2 in the Big East. Louisville started its year hot, winning its first nine games. But then back-to-back losses to Syracuse and Connecticut stung. The Cardinals finished the season with a 20-17 win over Rutgers on Nov. 29.
The Gators don't necessarily have the most explosive offense, but their defense has been superb this year. Florida is allowing 12.9 points per game, which is the third best mark in the country. The Cardinals also have a strong defense, holding teams to 23.8 points per game this year.
