Florida Gators Score Update: UF Leads Furman Paladins 37-32

The Florida Gators (5-5) managed to sneak into the half leading the Furman Paladins (6-4) despite giving up 22 points in the first quarter. As they enter the fourth quarter, the Gators look poised for a late-game showdown, leading by only five points.

The third quarter started slow, with the teams exchanging field goals, but with a few minutes remaining in the quarter, Andre Debose (151 yards, 2 TD) caught his second deep-bomb touchdown pass, giving the Gators a 37-25 lead. But then, one play later, Jerodis Williams charged 77 yards for a rushing touchdown and a 37-32 game.

Going into the fourth quarter, the Gators will be looking for continued production from quarterback John Brantley who has thrown for 294 yards and 4 deep touchdowns while completing 14 of 23 attempts. The Gators running back Chris Rainey left the game early with an injury, but has since returned and dashed for 94 yards on 12 carries.
