The Gators improved to 4-1 last week, but did not do enough to advance in the AP poll.

The Florida Gators check in at No. 10 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll released Monday, moving neither up nor down from the Nov. 21 rankings. Florida improved to 4-1 with victories against the Wright St. Raiders and Jacksonville Dolphins, two fairly easy opponents, continuing its relatively light early-season schedule.

The Kentucky Wildcats ascended to No. 1 in the rankings following the former No. 1 North Carolina Tar Heels' stunning loss to the UNLV Rebels on Saturday. Kentucky remains undefeated. The Ohio St. Buckeyes, who dealt the Gators their lone loss of the season, rank No. 2, while the Duke Blue Devils stand at No. 3, and the Syracuse Orange come in at No. 4. The Tar Heels dipped to No. 5.

Notably, Florida visits Syracuse this Friday, Dec. 2, in a game that ought to have huge implications for next Monday's Top 25.
