Florida vs. Texas A&M: Gators Top Aggies, 84-64

The No.13 Florida Gators picked up a big win against No. 22 Texas A&M on Saturday, dropping the Aggies at the BankAtlantic Center by a final score of 84-64.

Kenny Boynton led the way for the Gators in the scoring column, putting up 22 points on 7-16 shooting including 6-12 from the 3-point territory. Will Yegeute was the big rebounder with seven boards to go with four points as the Gators narrowly won the battle of the boards, 28-25.

Four Gators, Boynton, Erving Walker, Bradley Beal and Erik Murphy, finished with double figure scoring as Florida hit six more 3-point field goals than its opponent on the afternoon to achieve separation from A&M.

David Loubeau and Elston Turner were the leading scorers for the Aggies with 20 and 18 points respectively.

The victory moves Florida to 8-2 on the season as it prepares to face Mississippi Valley State on Monday.
