In the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll, the Florida Gators (8-2) rank No. 11 in the nation, up two spots from the previous poll. The Gators' sound defeat, 84-64, of the No. 22 Texas A&M Aggies on Saturday certainly helped their ranking in Monday's poll.
It's Florida's fifth consecutive week in the top 25, and best showing since Nov. 28, when it stood at No. 10.
The Syracuse Orange (11-0) lead the poll at No. 1 for the second straight week. The Ohio St. Buckeyes (10-1), Kentucky Wildcats (9-1), Louisville Cardinals (10-0), and North Carolina Tar Heels (9-2) fill out the rest of the top 5.
Kentucky, Florida, and the No. 18 Mississippi St. Bulldogs (11-1) are the only clubs representing the SEC in the most recent poll.
