Mississippi State Vs. Florida: Gators Move To 5-1 In SEC Play With 69-57 Win

The Florida Gators were able to pick up their 17th straight home victory as the Gators took down the Mississippi State Bulldogs 69-57 on Saturday afternoon. The Gators held just a three-point lead at halftime, but were able to hold on and add to their lead in the second half. In the loss, both Arnett Moultrie and Dee Bost picked up 12 points, while Moultrie had a double-double adding 13 rebounds. Brian Bryant also added 11 points and four rebounds.

For the Gators, Bradley Beal continued to lead the way even after the leading at halftime, picking up 19 points and four rebounds. Erving Walker finally was able to get it going in the second half after just two points in the first half, adding another eight points for 10 points total and four assists. Patrick Young was also able to add 12 points and six rebounds off the bench.
