Florida Gators Football Recruiting 2012: National Signing Day Recap

The Florida Gators picked up a solid class of recruits on National Signing Day 2012. Although some Gators fans may be disappointed in the final list, a Top-Five finish when all is said and done is nothing to scoff at. The 23 players that have committed to the school comprise an extensive list of talent.

The Gators picked up three different five-star recruits and a slew of four-star players. The five-star player in the 2012 class were top defensive ends Jonathan Bullard and Dante Fowler Jr. and offensive lineman D.J. Humphries.

In terms of four-star recruits, the school acquired offensive lineman Jessamen Dunker, defensive tackles Damien Jacobs and Dante Phillips, running back Matt Jones, defensive backs Marcus Maye and Brian Poole, linebackers Antonio Morrison and Jeremi Powell, wide receiver Latroy Pittman and tight ends Kent Taylor and Colin Thompson.

The three-star recruits in the 2012 class are wide receiver Raphael Andrades, defensive backs Willie Bailey and Rhaheim Ledbetter, defensive ends Brian Cox Jr., Alex McCalister and Quinteze Williams, defensive tackle JaFar Mann and quarterback Skyler Mornhinweg.

The lone two-star recruit in the Gators class of recruits is kicker Austin Hardin.
