The Auburn Tigers have a high mountain to climb if they want to upset the Florida Gators Tuesday night at the O'Connell Center in Gainesville, FL. Auburn has not won a game in Gainesville since Feb. 1996, and the Gators are coming off strong road victories against Alabama and Arkansas.
However, given the fact that Auburn held Florida to 45 points in the last meeting between these two teams in January, one should not write this game off. The last five matchups between these two teams, have been decided by single-digits.
Guard Mike Rosario, who has missed the last three games with a hip pointer, will be a game time decision tonight according to Florida head coach Billy Donovan. Even if he is unavailable, Erving Walker and Kenny Boynton are coming off of an outstanding performance against Arkansas scoring combined 56 points as the Gators shot 58.3 percent from the field against the Razorbacks.
The game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. tip off with a national broadcast on ESPNU.
