March Madness Schedule 2012: Sunday's Elite Eight Matchups In South, Midwest Regions

The Louisville Cardinals and Ohio State Buckeyes punched their tickets to New Orleans and the Final Four with wins in the West and East regional finals, and on Sunday combatants in the South and Midwest regional finals will look to do the same.

The first game of the day will see the No. 1 seed in the South, the Kentucky Wildcats, take on the No. 3 seed Baylor Bears. Kentucky's roster is an embarrassment of riches, with the likes of Anthony Davis, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Doron Lamb taking the floor for head coach John Calipari. Do not shed a tear for the Bears though, as they have a formidable frontline of size and athleticism in Quincy Acy, Perry Jones III and Quincy Miller.

The late game pits Midwest No. 1 seed North Carolina versus No. 2 seed Kansas. The key to this game will likely be whether Carolina point guard Kendall Marshall can play, as the Tar Heels barely survived upset-minded Ohio on Friday night without Marshall.

Here is today's regional finals schedule:

Sunday:

South: No. 1 Kentucky Wildcats vs. No. 3 Baylor Bears, 2:20 p.m. ET, CBS
Midwest: No. 1 North Carolina Tar Heels vs. No. 2 Kansas Jayhawks, 5:05 p.m. ET, CBS
