Former Florida Gators basketball player Erving Walker had a run in with police a few weeks ago, failing to pay for a taco and then fleeing from police. Walker acquired the $3 taco from a Gainesville street vendor and refused to pay. Walker then ran from the police, despite the fact that according to the police report to cops yelled "Stop! Police!".
↵Walker was charged with retail petit theft and resisting an officer without violence. The Taco Chase involved multiple police officers on foot and some police cars. Walker has pleaded no contest to the charge and will have to pay a $301 fine according to a report.

↵I've had expensive tacos before in my day, but I'm not sure what would have to be stuffed in a tortilla shell to make it worth $301. It better be the best damn taco known to man.
↵I think I'm going to get a taco now.
