The mass exodus of players from Randy Edsall's Maryland Terrapins football program has been a boon for other schools this spring. The most notable player to move on was quarterback Danny O'Brien, who left Maryland for Wisconsin, and now a teammate in charge of keeping O'Brien's jersey clean has chosen a new school. According to Keith Niebuhr of Rivals.com, former Terrapins offensive lineman Max Garcia will transfer to Florida,

In addition to the Gators, the 6-foot-4, 310-pounder had narrowed his list to the Georgia Bulldogs, Ole Miss Rebels, Southern Cal Trojans and Wisconsin Badgers. It was rumored Georgia was the early front-runner for Garcia, as the lineman is from the Peach State.
