The 2012 NBA Draft happens Thursday night at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, something of a swan song for the arena since the Nets will be moving to Brooklyn next season. Among the players in attendance that night will be Florida shooting guard Bradley Beal.
Draft Express reported on Monday afternoon that Beal will be among several players in the green room at the Prudential Center that night. Others on hand for the draft include Anthony Davis, Thomas Robinson, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Harrison Barnes, Damian Lillard and other potential top picks in the first round.
Most mock drafts currently predict Beal to be selected by the Washington Wizards with the third overall pick. However, rumors over the weekend said that the Cleveland Cavaliers could move up from the fourth to the second spot in a deal with the Charlotte Bobcats to get Beal before the Wizards get a chance to select him.
