Yet another wonderfully realistic edition of EA's NCAA Football series - the punctually named "NCAA 13" - hits stores across America on Tuesday, so the fine folks at SB Nation got a sneak peak at the finished product, which includes a good dose of the Florida Gators and a startling expose about a programming glitch that robs bovine mascots of their legs. Just watch it:
That's some damn fine digital Gator chompin'. What excites us the most is not EA's dedication towards an annual advancement of grounded, reality-based play calling and player performance, but that most of the "traditions" surrounding the college football experience have been included up to this point - mascots, stadiums, cheer squads, fight songs and taunts. That leaves only the drunken discourse of tailgating and projectiles from an agitated student section for the next edition.
Don't waste money on Bevo legs next year, EA: We'd rather the luxury of "Press "X" to heckle Arkansas players' families regarding extramarital affairs on leisure vehicles."
