The Florida Gators will open their 2012 season this Saturday against the Bowling Green Falcons. The Gators are looking for signs of progress as they begin Year 2 of the Will Muschamp era, and a win over the Falcons would be a good start toward improving on 2011's 7-6 record.

The Falcons are coming off a 5-7 campaign and weren't particularly good on either side of the football in 2011. The Gators had one of the nation's top defenses in 2011, but they'll be looking for improvements an offense that ranked 105th in total offense.

Game Date & Time: Saturday, Sept. 1, 3:30 p.m. ET
