With the Florida Gators and Florida State Seminoles both taking care of business on Saturday, respectively, the teams have moved up in the national ranking polls. The Gators, after defeating Tennessee on the road and coming off another SEC road victory against Texas A&M the previous week, moved up four spots from No. 18 to No.14 in the rankings.

Florida State went from No. 5 to No. 4.

A loss to the Stanford Cardinal spells a steep drop in the latest AP Poll for the USC Trojans, who fall from No. 2 in the rankings to No. 13 and, like the rest of the nation, continue to chase the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide.

For their victory, the Cardinal see a 12-spot jump, moving from No. 21 last weekend to No. 9 in the third regular season iteration of the AP Poll.

Again, the two Pac-12 schools and the rest of the country are chasing the SEC, as they deposit three teams in the top five, including the No. 1 Tide, No. 2 LSU Tigers and No. 5Georgia Bulldogs. Alabama grabbed 58 of the available 60 first-place votes, with LSU securing the last two.

Oregon claims the No. 3 spot in this week's poll.
