The Florida Gators and LSU Tigers will be facing off against each other on Oct. 6 – and the SEC announced more details regarding the juicy matchup between two SEC powerhouses.
Kickoff between the Gators and Tigers will be at 3:30 p.m. EST, at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainsville, Fla. As expected, the game will be broadcast on CBS.
Both teams will likely be undefeated heading into the showdown. The Gators will bring a 4-0 record into the contest, including a 3-0 SEC record, and are off this coming week.
LSU, meanwhile, plays host to Towson – as close to a shoe-in victory as there is in college football this year. Assuming the Tigers win, LSU will carry a 5-0 record into the game against Florida, with a 1-0 conference mark.
Les Miles' team was nearly upset on Sept. 22 against Auburn, narrowly winning 12-10. LSU's game against Florida begins a tough stretch of games for the Tigers, as they'll take on South Carolina, Texas A&M, and Alabama in the weeks following the Florida game.
