End of the Second, Panthers still trail

The Blues controlled most of the second period, effectively killing off Florida’s penalties, outshooting the Cats on a three minute power play to open the period.
Chris Porter scored his first goal of the season to put the Blues up 2-1. An off balance goal by T.J. Oshie was waved off due to a questionable goalie interference call.
The period closed with Jaroslav Halak shutting down several good scoring chances by the Panthers on their third power play of the evening, including a minute of 4-on-3 action.
