BCS Rankings, Week 9: No. 1 LSU, No. 2 Alabama Highlight Six SEC Teams In Standings

The LSU Tigers and Alabama Crimson Tide remained the top two teams in the latest iteration of the BCS Standings, used to determine who will meet in the BCS National Championship Game in January 2012. LSU and Alabama will meet in two weeks in Tuscaloosa, in what may amount to a de facto national championship game

The SEC placed six teams in total in this week's standings. In addition to the Tigers and Crimson Tide, Arkansas is No. 10, South Carolina No. 13, Georgia No. 22 and Auburn No. 24.

The highest ACC team ranked this week is Clemson and their arena football-esque offense, jumping two spots from last week and checking in at No. 5.
