The Florida State Seminoles held a massive 50-16 point lead over the Auburn Tigers at halftime and finished the game out by coasting to an easy victory. The Tigers were able to get the score a bit more respectable than the 34 point deficit entering halftime, but ultimately falling 85-56. The Noles defense shut down the Tigers offense in the first half and let up just a bit in the second half, giving up 40 points. Chris Denson led the Tigers in scoring with 15 points off the bench, with Kenny Gabriel also picking up 10 points.
For the Seminoles, guard Michael Snaer had a nice night picking up 22 points and leading the Noles in scoring, also picking up four rebounds and four steals. Xavier Gibson finished the game with 12 points, four blocks, and five rebounds. The Noles also picked up 15 points off the bench from guard Ian Miller.
