Eddie Goldman Signs To Florida State

Eddie Goldman, the No. 1 defensive tackle in the country, has officially signed to Florida State. The five star recruit was expected to sign with the 'Noles, and it's nice to have the paperwork filed. He burned multiple SEC schools to join the Seminoles.

Goldman, out of Washington DC, stands 6'3" and 310 lbs. His decision came down to FSU and Alabama, telling SBNation.com's Bud Elliot at the Under Armour All-American Game, "I like coach Odell [Haggins] at Florida State. We have a good relationship. I like coach Sal [Sunseri] at Alabama. He's a real dude,". Sunseri is no longer with Alabama though, as he took the defensive coordinator position at Tennessee, so Goldman's signing with Florida State was a near lock.
