The St. Bonaventure Bonnies weren't supposed to run through the Atlantic 10 tournament. Once they won the A-10 and got into the NCAA Tournament, they weren't expected to challenge the Florida State Seminoles in the first round. They're doing just that, and they lead 34-28 at the half. The Bonnies were in control for most of the first 20 minutes, but FSU started to get back into the game at the end of the half.
St. Bonaventure led by as many as 10 points in the first half before Leonard Hamilton's team started to find their feet, but they still didn't look in rhythm late in the half. The Seminoles are shooting just 39 percent from the floor and they're not playing as well as usual defensively. They don't have any answer for the Bonnies' Andrew Nicholson, the best player on the floor. He has 12 points on 5-5 shooting to go along with four rebounds and two blocks.
