The Miami Hurricanes trailed the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 21-20 at halftime, but you wouldn't have guessed that looking at the final score. In the second half, the Hurricanes offense got going behind the play of Shane Larkin and Durand Scott who ended the night with 12 and 11 points respectively. The Hurricanes blew out the Yellow Jackets in the second half, pouring on 35 points to walk away with the 54-36 victory.
With the win, the Hurricanes move on in the ACC Tournament and will face off against in-state rival Florida State on Friday evening. The Hurricanes split the regular season series with the Seminoles, so the rubber match will have to come in the second round of the ACC Tournament.
