Florida State Vs. Miami: Seminoles Blow By Hurricanes 82-71

The Florida State Seminoles held off a Miami rally and secured an 82-71 win in the ACC Tournament quarterfinal in Atlanta Friday night. The win sets up a semifinal match-up between the No. 3 seed Seminoles and the No. 2 seed Duke Blue Devils that will tip off at approximately 3:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

The Seminoles led for most of the evening, having taken the lead for good on an Ian Miller three-pointer that made the score 12-9 with 13:08 to go in the first half. Florida State's lead expanded to 36-27 at halftime after the Seminoles had led by as many as 13 points.

Miami cut the lead to 62-59 after a Kenny Kadji jumper with 3:58 remaining, but Ian Miller's jumper made the score 64-59 and the Seminoles scored the next six points to put the result beyond doubt.

Five Seminoles finished in double figures, led by Michael Snaer (20 points). Miami was led by Malcolm Grant's 19 points.
