FSU Hopes To Carry Momentum Vs. South Florida

The Florida State Seminoles are coming off of a thrilling 49-37 win over Clemson on Saturday, and now prepare for a date with an inferior opponent in the South Florida Bulls.

Don't expect the Seminoles to take the Bulls lightly, though, as Florida St. seems to be fully aware that the Bulls have the potential to beat them on any given Saturday.

On the surface, it appears the Bulls and No. 4 Seminoles are headed in different directions. But as good as it felt to beat then-No. 10 Clemson on Saturday, FSU's players insist they won't take USF lightly.

"It definitely gives you a lot of confidence," sophomore cornerback Nick Waisome said of the Clemson win. "But you've got to play every week. It's not like you can relax. USF's a great team. It's our first road game. It's going to be like a Super Bowl over there."

It's going to be their "Super Bowl" is a great way to put it, as knocking off the Seminoles could potentially serve as a stepping stone to turn USF's season around.
