The Florida State Seminoles travel to Miami to face the Hurricanes in a rivalry matchup, and both schools will be looking to better position themselves for a potential ACC division title. The Seminoles are in second place in the Atlantic and, while they do not control their own destiny at this point, they remain in good shape. Miami leads the Coastal Division with a 3-1 conference record, but they can only hold on to first place with a win.
The Seminoles are 6-1 overall, their lone loss coming to N.C. State on Oct. 6. Florida State ranks in the nation's top 10 in total offense, total defense and scoring defense, among other things. Miami is 4-3 overall and trying to snap a two-game losing streak. The Hurricanes are 42nd nationally in total offense but just 117th in total defense -- Miami has allowed at least 200 yards rushing in each of its last six games.
Game time is set for 8 p.m. ET, with television coverage by ABC. The Seminoles opened at 17.5-point favorites.
