Two very different weekends for the Seminoles and Gators swapped their fortunes in the USA Today Coaches Poll.

The Florida Gators dropped five spots to No. 8 in this week's USA Today Coaches Poll after suffering a 17-9 loss to the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday.

The Gators, now 7-1, no longer control their own destiny in the SEC Eastern Division title race.

The Florida State Seminoles moved up three spots to No. 7 in this week's edition of the poll. The Seminoles dominated throughout a 48-7 win against the Duke Blue Devils on Saturday.

Four of the five undefeated teams in the Football Bowl Subdivision compries the top four in the poll: the Alabama Crimson Tide are No. 1 and are followed by the Oregon Ducks, the Kansas State Wildcats and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

The fifth undefeated team, the Louisville Cardinals, moved up to No. 10 after a 34-31 overtime win against Cincinnati on Friday.
