The No. 9 Florida State Seminoles are currently projected for an Orange Bowl matchup against the No. 19 Boise State Broncos in SB Nation's latest bowl projections. The Seminoles sit at 8-1 after a 48-7 blowout win over the Duke Blue Devils, and they will face a tough road test this Thursday night against the Virginia Tech Hokies.

Elsewhere in Florida, the No. 7 Gators were bumped down to the Cotton Bowl after their disappointing 17-9 loss to the No. 6 Georgia Bulldogs. The Gators are projected to play another team coming off a rough loss in the No. 12 Oklahoma Sooners, who were smashed at home by the No. 3 Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Gators next face the MIssouri Tigers.

The UCF Knights are in line for a Jan. 1 bowl, as they are projected to play in the Heart of Dallas bowl against the Iowa Hawkeyes. The Knights sit atop the Conference USA East division with a 4-0 league record and host the SMU Mustangs this Saturday.
